If you thought up a list of resolutions for 2011, don’t be surprised if you have already slipped up on one or more of them.
The reason for this is that in our imagination, we come up with a laundry list of all the things we want, and the perfect behavior to go with it, and yet the list remains a magical wish rather than an action plan.
Starting today, I am participating in another writing challenge — this is an Ultimate Blog Challenge hosted by my friends Michele Scism and Michelle Shaeffer.
I’ll be posting daily all through the month of January. Tomorrow, I’ll give suggestions on the right way to make resolutions that you can actually keep!
If you have any specific questions for me — on the topics of stress relief, happiness and relationships — that I could address in a blog post, be sure to drop by askevelynbrooks.com and type in your question — it’s free, it’s confidential and it’s private.
Happy New Year!
Evelyn
