WHAT WOULD YOU ASK THIS FEATURED EVENT SPEAKER?
BOB PROCTOR — “YOUR DREAM OF RELEASING THE FEAR OF PUBLIC SPEAKING”
In surveys about what most people are afraid of, the “fear of public speaking” often tops the list. Bob Proctor is one of the most popular public speakers in the world, and yet he freely explains his own history of being too shy and self-conscious to even ask a question in a seminar. I wanted to find out his secret, and that’s why I invited Bob to speak about this topic. Of course, I couldn’t resist the chance to prepare questions for him that would allow him to share his incredible expertise on the topic of success — which he’s been teaching for over fifty years to countless thousands of people all around the world.
See below for some of the questions I prepared for my conversation with Bob Proctor — and you’ll be able hear his responses to these and MORE during the one-hour seminar scheduled for Saturday Aug 4, 2012 at 4:30 pm Pacific/ 7:30 pm Eastern. Get the full event schedule and register at www.yourdreamworldsummit.com. Sample Questions for Bob Proctor
- When you are on stage, no matter how large the audience is, you seem to be as comfortable as if you’re chatting with a friend. How do you achieve this?
- Many people might dismiss your lack of stage fright by saying you’ve had years of practice, but I’ve heard performers admit they get very nervous before every event even after they’ve had years of doing it– so what is your secret? Is it something we can all learn?
- How do you prepare for speaking at an event. You usually don’t use notes, so do you spend a lot of time memorizing what you plan to say?
- One of the things you emphasize is that to be successful we need to remove that distinction of what “I” can do and what “they” can do. Could you explain more about our belief system and how it affects our results?
- If someone’s job involves speaking or conducting meetings, or an event is coming up where they’ll be called on to stand up and speak, how can they prepare for the experience?
I am confident that you’ll gain a lot from my interview with the incomparable Bob Proctor — so listen in!
