Bundle of joy: my new puppy

I lost two of my dogs last year — Peaches (Golden Retriever) in Feb and Roxy (Bernese Mtn Dog) in Dec.  Both of them were 8 years old, leaving my 12 year old Sheltie, Vanna, to rule the roost.  Today I brought home this darling girl to join the family — still working on name ideas, but I like “Jasmine” so far. She is a Golden Retriever, 9 months old, and is of the white “English cream” variety.

She is a great stress reliever – helps you to really focus on what is important in life.  And I just found out why she spent an hour romping on the grass – she grew up in the desert and has never seen grass before!
