Do you ever sing or hum to yourself to cheer up when you’re in a bad mood or things aren’t going great? It’s amazing how much it really does help affect your mood in a positive way if you concentrate on something happy and upbeat.

Here are some old ones that are good standbys– songs from the Great Depression are especially cheery because they knew the value of trying to give people a lift and listening to the radio was certainly one way to send out that be-happy message. Today we’ve got the internet, radio, TV etc. Aren’t we lucky?

Don’t forget the great songs from Sesame Street like Sing a Song — sing out happy, not sad!
