Go with the flow

I love this sign.

It reminds me of the old Yogi Berra saying, “When you come to a fork in the road, take it.”

Of course people laugh at that, but how do we know it’s not good advice? No matter which direction you take, you’ll find new lessons to learn. And if you realize you’re on the wrong path, you can change direction. Not always an easy thing to do, though, when you’ve made a commitment to a relationship or a new job. That’s why we usually talk about taking time to consider your options and think things through before making a major decision in life.

When you learn how to go with the flow, you’ll be able to ride on positive energy just like it’s a river.

One of the ways you can start doing this is to notice when you are being negative or limiting in your beliefs about yourself. That produces a lot of stress, which leads to feeling out of energy and too discouraged to keep going with your goals.  Instead, grab hold of positive messages and empower yourself.

A method I’ve used for over 15 years is subliminal tapes. I listen to them all night while I sleep, and also at my desk. The positive affirmations are buried under music or nature sounds, but your subconscious hears them. It’s like having a loving friend continually tell you empowering messages to help you stay on track and focused.  My favorites are the ones my friend Dr Eldon Taylor has created — he’s an absolute master in the arena of subliminal messages, and I hope you’ll take a moment to see all that he has to offer to support your goals, whether you’re interested in weight loss, business success, stop smoking, gain self-esteem, learn how to study more efficiently. He’s got hundreds of topics covered.  Go now to MindMint and be sure to check out all the free ebooks he offers as well.

your happiness guru,

Hi Evelyn,

We DO share a similar approach in our blogs. How delightful! I loved this and resonated with it: "When you learn how to go with the flow, you’ll be able to ride on positive energy just like it’s a river." It's like the verse, Path of Acceptance in my book, "Opening the Gates of the Heart" which says that when we are in tune with our true path, the ascent flows smoothly, as soft as velvet.

I hope you don't mind, but I am going to put a link to your site in today's blog. It's on acceptance of self and I will be talking about happiness. Your site would be perfect for people to read!

Thanks much,
