3 Ways Stress Kills Your Business

Are you ready to snap?

Whether you’re an overworked entrepreneur or an overwhelmed employee, let’s face it: work can really stress us out.

There are deadlines to meet, problems to resolve, a schedule that constantly has more in it than one person can handle.

If you don’t have a stress relief system in place, you risk a lot of problems in your personal life, your health and your feelings of success.

But putting those issues aside for today, let’s look at 3 Ways Stress Can Kill Your Business:

  1. You’re too tired and overwhelmed to give important projects the attention they need, so you take shortcuts that are not in your best interest.
  2. You don’t have the patience to listen to advice and feedback from other people, so you hastily make decisions just to get it over with instead of taking the time that you need to consider the options.
  3. You procrastinate on the big things, and spend too much time on the pesky little tasks that scream for attention, because you think you need to clear a block of time on your schedule for the big items. Result: you miss out on opportunities, you miss deadlines, you miss the boat.

You are SO right about having a way to relieve stress. I just came in from a rip-roaring good time out with my husband tonight. We went to a karaoke bar (non-smoking) and a lot of our friends were there. We had a riot - singing, dancing and laughing. And I don't even drink! Sometimes it might be a quiet evening with a close friend, or a good movie, or maybe turning the phones off and curling up with a good book.

Thank you so much for visiting my blog tonight and letting me share with you a little of my history and how I came to live in Myrtle Beach. I wrote that story just for fun and had no business agenda. That felt good!

Take care and have a lovely weekend. See you some more on the blog challenge!
You have an awesome blog.
